About me

Hi, I'm James, I’m a Lake District Photographer based in the south of Cumbria. I've been photographing the lakes for many years now, I strive to capture the Lakes in all conditions and seasons to truly capture the essence of this incredible place.

Living in the south of Cumbria means I have the lakes right at my doorstep, I’m out enjoying them whenever I have the time, whatever the weather.

My approach to my images is to try and give the most faithful representation of what I see whilst simultaneously capturing the true feeling of a place. I strive to consistently keep improving the quality of my images to create a body of work I can be truly proud of.

All my images are processed in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, using a range of different techniques. As I have grown as a photographer I have integrated more complex editing techniques enabling me to improve the overall quality and atmosphere of my images.
